Yellowstone in winter is a wonderful place. Unlike the summer months the park is virtually empty of people. For those animals that stay, despite the -30 degree cold and deep snow, food is scarce. The Madison River keeps flowing throughout the winter fuelled by the volcanic heat. It is a natural draw for Elk, Coyote, Bobcat and Buffalo.
Here are some of the images from a section of weddings I have been lucky enough to be invited to shoot at
These first three images of Cape Hatterass Lighthouse on the Outer Banks, North Carolina, USA bring back great memories of a planes, trains, automobiles and ferries adventure and some great night photography. Nobska Lighthouse near Woodshole, Massachusetts, USA is one of my favourites. The last two are a metor shower over the RollRight Stones, Warwickshire, UK and the Milky Way shot over the desert in Borrego Springs, California, USA.
There is something very calming and majestic about the oceans and the sea, particularly first thing in the morning and last thing before dark. Each image captures a moment and a personal memory that links me to that place and time.
I love sports and had the unique experience of attending the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These images of Gold medal winners on the running track and in the velodrome were the highlight of a fantastic summer of sport.
Here are some of the images of memorable people and memorable places from my travels around the world
Photographing wildlife is my deepest passion and I love to spend hours watching and waiting for that intimate moment that connects me, even briefly with these fabulous creatures.
